We recently had Richard Reenstra come to talk to us about the Ocean County Shade Tree Commission. This commission was created to protect and preserve shade, ornamental trees, and shrubbery along County roadways as well as advise and assist County agencies in the proper care, planting, and control of trees and shrubbery.
We first met Rich back in 2017 when he helped us pick trees to plant at Cattus Island. He is very knowledgeable and we are looking forward to continue working with him in the future planting more trees in Ocean County!
