Thank you to Commissioner Ginny Haines for kicking off Women's History Month with an insightful and engaging conversation! She shared the history behind Women's History Month—originally established as a weeklong celebration in 1980 by President Jimmy Carter before being officially recognized as a month in 1987 to honor the vital contributions of women throughout history.
Commissioner Haines also highlighted some exciting projects coming to Ocean County, giving us a glimpse into the positive developments on the horizon. It was a fantastic lunch filled with great discussion and inspiration. We appreciate her time and dedication to our community!
